The Primary SSN in the Return Header must not be equal to the Primary SSN in another return filed for the same tax year in a 1040 return.

❌ Resolution

 

Check the Primary Social Security Number against the actual Social Security Card card.

If the information entered matches exactly the taxpayer needs to contact the IRS at 1-800-829-1040 for additional instructions.

If the information entered is not correct, re-enter the information and re-submit the e-File.
