Error: EFIN not registered,

You received the following error when transmitting a return. EFIN XXXXXX Not registered (where the X's show your EFIN)."
 
To fix this issue, do the following:
 
  1. Open the return.
  2. Go to 8879 Form.
  3. Remove the EFIN.
  4. Press Tab.
  5. Re-enter EFIN on 8879.
  6. Create the e-file.
  7. Transmit the return.
